Katherine has walked in executives’ shoes – through hiring, firing, upsizing, downsizing, rightsizing, merging, acquiring – in companies ranging from small boutiques to multibillion-dollar corporations. Having spent over 20 years as a corporate executive, she understands the pain, desire, excitement, and vision of driving businesses forward and career trajectories upward.
Executives do not need business advice. They need coaching to effectively build, develop, and motivate their teams. Katherine has coached executives at companies ranging from startups to large, global organizations, and in industries such as financial services, healthcare, biotech, e-commerce and media. Recent clients include Pfizer, Tribune Media, Moody’s, Chartbeat, Allstate, Hasbro, Dick’s Sporting Goods, and Brown Advisory.
CEO and Founder, D3
Before coaching, Katherine spent more than 20 years as a senior executive in corporate America. She managed multibillion-dollar companies through major organizational and culture change, while mentoring dozens of mid-level senior and C-suite executives.
As President of an online photography company, MyPublisher.com, Katherine rapidly scaled the business from $5M to $30M in sales within four years. She closed the B2B arm, which was dependent on its sole customer, Apple, and built a direct to consumer brand. This rapid and profitable growth (30% GM) resulted in Shutterfly, Inc.’s acquisition of the business.
Prior to joining MyPublisher.com, Katherine held several senior leadership roles with Time Warner and Cablevision, marketing and launching new digital products, including digital TV, cable internet services, and video-on-demand. She also served as Global Brand Manager for Sheraton Hotels & Resorts Worldwide at Starwood Hotels. Her corporate career began as a management consultant at Bain & Company where she advised Fortune 500 companies on strategic and organizational issues.
